Karawaci Presbyterian Church (KPC) is a healthy, growing, international Presbyterian church seeking a Lead Pastor who is called to gospel ministry in a cross-cultural context and committed to Reformed theology and Presbyterian polity.

Karawaci Presbyterian Church (KPC) is an English-speaking international church located in the Jakarta metropolitan area of Indonesia. KPC exists to worship God and make disciples of Jesus Christ—locally in Karawaci and throughout Indonesia.
KPC is a culturally diverse congregation, united by a shared love for Christ and his church. Members come from approximately fifteen countries across Asia, the United States, Europe, Africa, and Australia, including Indonesian nationals, expatriate professionals, and international university students.
The church gathers weekly for joyful, reverent worship on the campus of Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH), a Christian university in Lippo Karawaci, Tangerang.
About the Church
Weekly attendance: 350+ in Sunday worship
Families worship together; nursery and children’s lessons serve approximately 30 children
Fellowship groups meet during the week for Bible study, prayer, and shared life
Strong culture of hospitality, community, and volunteer service
KPC is led by a faithful group of elders (Session), supported by staff and ministry leaders, and served by a wide network of committed volunteers.

The Lead Pastor Role
KPC is prayerfully seeking a Lead Pastor who:
Loves Jesus Christ and his church
Is humble, teachable, and cross-culturally sensitive
Is committed to discipling believers through faithful preaching, teaching, and shepherding
Has a heart for strengthening the local church and supporting church planting across Indonesia
This search is connected to the transition of the current senior pastor, who is returning to his home country for family medical reasons.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
Master of Divinity from an accredited seminary
Ordainable in the Gereja Presbyterian Reformed Injili Indonesia (GPRII)
Presbyterian and Reformed in theology and ecclesiology
Meets biblical elder qualifications (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1)
Cross-cultural living and ministry experience
Subscription to the Westminster Confession of Faith and Larger and Shorter Catechisms
Willingness to submit to the GPRII Book of Church Order
Preferred (but not required):
Previous experience leading a church of 200+ members
