Pastor Wang Yi of Early Rain Church has been in prison since December 9, 2018.

"Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body." Hebrews 13:3

I want you to meet one of Pathway Learning’s strategic global partners in the underground church in China. Pastor Wang Yi has been imprisoned in China for his faith since December 9, 2018. His wife, son, and mother remain under close surveillance and are not permitted to move freely in their community.

But just as the Apostles’ imprisonment for their faith did not hinder their ministry (“the word of God increased and multiplied" Acts 12:24), so Wang Yi's ministry continues to flourish today through the planting and growth of healthy indigenous churches that are transforming lives and communities throughout China.

Please pray for Wang Yi's immediate release and for his wife, son, mother, church members, and church leaders during this time. Please also share this need with others and pray for the persecuted underground church in China – especially the support and training of their church planters and pastors during this time.

What makes Pathway Learning’s ministry uniquely effective around the world?

We establish strategic global partnerships with key indigenous church leaders and their training organizations, such as denominations, networks, mission agencies, seminaries, and churches, to help them be more effective in training their church leaders to develop healthy churches that transform lives and communities wherever they serve around the world.

Pathway Learning has already equipped a growing global community of church leaders from more than 300 denominations representing 60 countries in 7 languages. Our five major global projects include serving

  • the persecuted church in China

  • the resistant unreached in Japan

  • the rural poor in Muslim West Africa

  • the secular in post-Christian Europe (Italy)

  • the urban poor in North America (Baltimore).

Our new global project will serve the persecuted in Iran (Farsi Project) in 2024. When you support Pathway Learning, you’re helping equip indigenous church leaders to plant and grow healthy churches that transform lives and communities in the persecuted, underground church in China.

Would you prayerfully consider including Pathway Learning in your end-of-year giving? We rely on gifts we receive this month to operate all year.

Give today and help bring lasting hope to people in China and around the world.

For the King!

Steve
